It was a cloudy and chilly day as I drove out to the American River Parkway to meet this beautiful young high school graduate and her mother. I looked up at the clouds and frowned. I planned to use the sun in a very specific way during this session....to illuminate her gorgeous hair. A few poses into the shoot the sky opened up for us, and everything lit up just beautifully for us!
We laughed, we frolicked in the grass, and she shone like a star. See for yourself...
This young actress has a lovely sense of humor and radiant exuberance for life. High School Senior sessions are meant to be celebrations, and this session was exactly that. We celebrate who the young person is and who they aspire to become. We catch this moment and freeze it so the family can always look back and remember this precious time of life.
